Porcell emailed me asking if I watched the season finale of a show called Lost , I had to chuckle because once I was lost in the material world, here's my response to him :

Who is this fricken guy and what is his deal? Is he a republican, is he a democrat, is he acting, serious or just a clown? He's like the Crucial Youth of news reporting. If we ran into him on the Youth Across America tour in 88 we would have called him a "sap", shout out to Tom Capone for that word.

Modern Love Story

When I wrote Modern Love Story the world was a different place. These four miserable women didn't exist, the meatpacking district wasn't a place to sip mojitos and try to bag Mr.Big and the only HBO Series I knew about was the Hitchhiker.

At first glance this does look like the stage at the Anthrax in 1988 when we played with Side By Side and Gorilla Biscuits but these shirtless hunks are at a Gay Pride parade, Hardcore shows are the other place where a bunch of shirtless guys hung out with no women around and get sweaty...uhmmm HELLO!

One of the only places my journey hasn't taken me is outer space but in one of my lives I was an astronaut so maybe this body hasn't been there but my soul has been there many times. I'm not this body, I'm not this wrist, this robust nose, this goatee or even this ingrown toe nail.

Ran into Joe who used to sing for Infest, though he aged better than me he kind of looks like Joe Rogan, is drinking Crown Royal and has massive sweat stains. I know those are concerns that the material world wants us to be consumed by but c'mon Lucky Brand? His Hurley trucker hat, rollerblades and flip flops are cropped out of the picture.
